1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Enginaut ("Enginaut," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Enginaut app and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Who may use Enginaut

Enginaut is intended for students of middle and high school age.

• If you are 13 or older, you may create an account and use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
• If you are under 13, you may use the Service only if your parent or legal guardian has provided consent, as described in our Privacy Policy, and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
• If you are a parent or guardian consenting for a child, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and your child, and you are responsible for your child's use of the Service.

By using Enginaut, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account login information secure and for activity that happens under your account. Please give us accurate information when you sign up, and let us know if you believe your account has been used without permission. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or that are used in a harmful way.

4. What Enginaut costs

Enginaut is currently free to use. We may introduce paid features or subscription plans in the future. If we do, we will clearly show any prices and terms before you are charged, and paid features will be optional unless stated otherwise.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use Enginaut only for its intended purpose — learning — and not to:

• Break the law or use the Service to harm others
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours
• Disrupt, overload, hack, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service
• Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute Enginaut's lessons or content without permission
• Upload harmful code or content, or misuse any communication or feedback features

We may remove content or suspend access if these rules are broken.

6. Our content and intellectual property

Enginaut's lessons, text, visuals, characters (including the Enginaut astronaut), software, and branding are owned by Enginaut or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Service for your own learning. You may not copy, sell, or redistribute our content except as expressly allowed.

7. Feedback

If you send us ideas or feedback, thank you — we may use them to improve Enginaut without any obligation to you, and you grant us permission to do so.

8. Third-party services

Enginaut may rely on or link to third-party services (such as Google sign-in or app stores). Those services have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.

9. Disclaimers

Enginaut is an educational tool provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to make it accurate and helpful, but we do not guarantee that the Service will always be available or error-free, or that its content is complete or suitable for any particular purpose (including any specific academic, admissions, or career outcome). Enginaut is a sampler meant to spark interest, not a certified academic curriculum or professional engineering instruction.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Enginaut will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Ending use

You may stop using Enginaut at any time, and you or a parent may request account deletion (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access to the Service if these Terms are violated or to protect users or the Service.

We may update, change, or discontinue parts of the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date and provide notice where appropriate.
